Ameland Summerschool 2025

July 01, 2025

Early this summer we have enjoyed a very nice fourth edition of our bi-annual summerschool 'Searches for new physics with low-energy precision tests', on the Dutch island of Ameland. We had a week with exciting lectures, short student presentations, fun activities on the island and plenty of opportunities for networking, good food - all in all, we just had a lot of fun.

Over 40 students (PhD and master level) and postdocs came from all over the world to interact with lecturers Jordy de Vries, Nick Hutzler, Rob Timmermans, Kieran Flanagan, Jacinda Ginges and Konstantin Gaul.

The organization was coordinated by Steven Hoekstra and Anastasia Borschevsky, with lots of practical help from the VSI team of Annelien Blanksma, Iris de Roo and Gerda van Calker. We look forward to the next edition, in summer 2027!
